Post-Doc positions - Viral Immunology
The Heinrich Pette Institute – Leibniz Institute for Experimental Virology in Hamburg, Germany, invites applications for two Postdoctoral scientists in the research department "Virus Immunology" (head: Prof. Marcus Altfeld). The department studies innate and adaptive immune responses in viral infections, with particular focus on HIV and HCV.
We are searching for two exceptional candidates who are highly motivated and have a profound interest in cellular immunology. Prior experience in the field of HIV/HCV immunology and/or virology, including experience in viral sequencing and/or assessment of virus-specific immunity are required. We are offering the opportunity to perform cutting-edge research in an extremely stimulating international work environment equipped with state-of-the-art technology. Good knowledge in written and spoken English will be required.
Starting in August 2013, the position is initially funded for three years with the possibility of extension. Payment and social benefits will be in accordance with the regulations of the German TV-AVH (salary agreement for public service employees).
