General Virology
Our research aims at a detailed elucidation of molecular events associated with viral infections of man and animals. This includes attempts to develop novel strategies for their prevention and therapy. A second foucs is on the molecular characterisation of components and mechanisms involved in initiation and progression of virus- tumor- and autoimmune diseases.
